This dynamic colored pencil illustration commemorates the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' historic first Super Bowl victory in 2003, capturing the sideline celebration of the pivotal moment when MLB Derrick Brooks intercepted a pass and returned it 44 yards for a touchdown, the turning point in Super Bowl XXXVII. Based on an iconic image from the Tampa Bay Times' Super Bowl edition, with all figures, text, and the logos meticulously hand-drawn in colored pencil. Created during Fall's relocation to Sarasota, this artwork represents one of only three pieces where he experimented with digital backgrounds, marking an important step in his artistic evolution toward developing the distinctive background techniques that continued to define his photorealistic sports illustrations.
