This dynamic tribute to Denver Broncos legend Rod Smith captures both his explosive playing style and remarkable journey from undrafted free agent to NFL star. Created in 2010, the 22" x 30" colored pencil illustration features two action poses of the Broncos' all-time leading receiver, framed by stylized elements of the Broncos logo in team colors. The piece holds special personal significance as Smith's story deeply resonated with Fall, who also played receiver briefly at Missouri Southern State University. Smith's transformation from a Division II player who overcame a devastating knee injury to become the Broncos' all-time leading receiver through sheer determination and work ethic inspired Fall's own persistent pursuit of his sports art career - a journey that continues to this day.
