In this 16" x 20" colored pencil illustration from 1996, Fall captures Kansas City Royals legend George Brett in his iconic batting stance, rendered with meticulous attention to uniform detail and the intensity of his focused expression. While learning to use Photoshop later in college, Alvin created this digital stadium lighting effect as an early experiment in background solutions for his detailed work, though he limited this technique to just three illustrations to ensure his traditional artwork wouldn't be mistaken for digital creation. This piece was also featured in the 1st Annual Beckett magazine "Special Art Issue" (2019).
