This 16" x 20" colored pencil and watercolor illustration, created in 2014, showcases Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas making an athletic catch. The piece incorporates Colorado's iconic mountain landscape, inspired by the state's license plate design, with a subtle Broncos logo integrated into the snow-covered peaks. The title "Above the Divide" plays on both Thomas reaching skyward and Denver's proximity to the Continental Divide.
